How to report an issue

Use the Contact page and include:

• the URL or exact title of the page;
• the statement, ingredient, instruction or link you believe needs attention;
• why it may be inaccurate, unclear or incomplete; and
• supporting information or a reliable source, when available.

Please do not submit passwords, payment details, health records or other sensitive personal information.

How reports are reviewed

What’s Baking reviews correction reports for accuracy, clarity, internal consistency and relevance. Depending on the evidence, content may be corrected, clarified, expanded or removed. Minor formatting and typographical fixes may be made without a separate correction note.

Material corrections

When a change materially affects the meaning, safety or usefulness of a page, What’s Baking may add an explanatory note where appropriate. We do not display publication or update dates unless their provenance can be supported by reliable records.

Recipe results and reader feedback

A different result does not always mean a recipe contains an error. Ingredients, substitutions, equipment, measurements, technique and local conditions can change the outcome. Specific observations are still valuable and will be considered in context.

Response expectations

Reports are reviewed as resources permit. Submission does not guarantee a response, a change, or acceptance of a proposed correction.
